African American Academic Network Promotes success and high impact engagement for students of African descent through comprehensive programming. Army ROTC The UIC Army ROTC program commissions officers for Active, Guard, or Reserve service. Asian American Student Academic Program (AASAP) Tutoring services, academic advising, and support 1-credit Global Asian Studies seminars focusing on career development, financial literacy, and life skills. CHANCE Program Assists UIC with its goal to increase recruitment, retention and graduation rates of underrepresented students. DuSable Scholars Program A community of students, faculty and staff working towards achieving excellence in academics and research, to identify and support talented Black and Native American students who are underrepresented in STEM fields. Office of High School Development Coordinates UIC's involvement with UIC College Preparatory High School. LARES Empowers Latinx and other students by providing support for their education and personal growth. L@S GANAS Academic support office for Latinx students in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Native American Support Program Provides resources for Native American and other indigenous students to enhance their individual growth. TRIO TRIO supports low-income individuals, first-generation college students, and individuals with disabilities with their educational plans from high school to post-baccalaureate programs. Undergraduate Research and External Fellowships Provides comprehensive support to students as they pursue undergraduate research experiences and competitive external fellowships, with a particular focus on fostering a culture of academic inquiry and faculty engagement.
