Maya Gabriel serves as the Director of Operations for the Office of Student Success and Belonging at the University of Illinois Chicago (UIC). She holds a Bachelor's degree in English from Florida Atlantic University and transitioned into higher education in 2020 after a successful career as a financial administrator for mid-sized law firms in South Florida. Maya earned her Master’s in Business Administration from UIC, where she focuses on advancing learning outcomes through ethical business practices. She is committed to promoting social responsibility, and sustainability in organizations, integrating these principles with integrity and humanity.
